Bing Vs. Google for Search Assist

Positive Searches Results 27 Bing Vs. Google for Search AssistGoogle has been an Internet buddy for awhile now. We have trusted Google with our innermost thoughts and looked for items. We have shared ourselves and we have not been burned. Our relationship with Google is one of our primary Internet contacts and confidant’s. It is World Wide Web symbiosis at its best. Then, just as we were looking the other way, along came Bing.

Bing crept up like a lion in the night. They had those commercials with the sound that we are now free to associate with Bing the entity. It is a professional looking outfit, but do they deserve our credence? Should we even look away from our monitor’s for consideration?

Maybe, yes. Maybe, no.

There are two other factors to consider. The first is ownership. Bing is owned by Microsoft and Microsoft is the software on most computers throughout the free world. Should we pledge allegiance to another Microsoft product? So, what about Google. Who owns Google? We do not know. We cannot say. This information is private.

The second factor of consideration is results. Search results seem exactly identical if not almost so. Perhaps, one is accustomed to having used one search engine and would consider using another out of whimsy, curiosity or throwing caution to the wind? Perhaps, this would be wise. Do something different. Change your plans. Be daring.
Both names are easy to remember. Both have an attractive interface and search is simple. Perhaps, one is as good as another? Could that be?

Or maybe, just maybe, one of the two will push the pedal to the floor in an attempt to impress us? It is no longer necessary to advertise even. No. We are past that. An impressive advertising campaign would be just that.
We want more. We have become bored with the mundane.
